Hi! I'm Dani Smith.
Brand Designer & Illustrator -- Creator of Awesome Things.
I have been passionate about art since I was a child, and I am thrilled to be able to share my passion with all of you. With my background in graphic design, fine arts, and over a decade of experience, I specialize in creating designs that capture the spirit of my clients and bring their stories to life. I look forward to working with you to create something amazing.
My Story.
My creative journey began when I first picked up a brush and realized I had a knack for design. I have been honing my skills ever since and through dedication and hard work, I have grown a successful business. I am thrilled to have evolved into Dani Does Design which allows me to provide a wide range of design services.
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts n 2010. I was even lucky enough to study photography abroad in China and Vietnam during my enrollment, which was an unforgettably incredible experience.
I moved to Atlanta and continued my education at Portfolio Center (now Miami Ad School). I spent some time in print production before landing my dream job as Creative Project Manager for King of Pops! I still have King of Pops as a client, but had moved on to create my own freelance company, Dani Does Doodles.
Finally, I upgraded my team and equipment (like the laser engraver!) and evolved my company into Dani Does Design, and here we are! I'm Dani, a brand designer, illustrator, and creator of awesome things!

I was responsible for product design, designing marketing collateral, and managing the market calendar. I created my own business over the pandemic, and King of Pops remains to be one of my best clients.
